Rise Against Hunger
 
Rise Against Hunger is growing a global movement to end hunger by empowering           communities, nourishing lives, and responding to emergencies. This initiative is targeting       remote, last-mile communities within hunger pockets that are designated “serious” or higher by the Global Hunger Index. The organization works with local leaders to harness the strengths of their communities and tackle their own food and nutrition security challenges with dignity and resilience.
 
 
Our students, with the help of the community, will pack 10,152 bags each containing vitamin pack, dehydrated vegetables, soy packets and rice. Items will be boxed and put in a container.  The cost of supplies is $4,100. Funds raised will help grades 5-8 for the Rise Against Hunger program.
