2019 Mission to Haiti
Information Meeting
Sunday, January 13, 2019
11:15 AM (after the 10 AM mass)
St. Patrick’s Parish Hall
This informal gathering is a great opportunity for anyone who is even the slightest bit curious about the 2018 or 2019 missions.
We are building another team to head back to Grand-Goâve, Haiti
from June 16-22, 2019… and you are invited!!!
Partnering with “Be Like Brit” helped us get to know the children and staff at Brit’s Home (the non-adoption orphanage where we stayed), enabled us to build a much needed home for a local family, provided the opportunity to see the greater Grand-Goâve community and opened our eyes to the beautiful Haitian people and their rich culture.
If we could do it… you can, too!
If you have questions or may be considering joining us in 2019, this meeting the place to be! Volunteers from our 2018 trip will be there to answer questions, etc.
If you know of anyone who might be considering an adventure like this, please have them come on January 13th (and/or have them reach out to Kate directly or via St. Pat’s website).
Information can also be found on our website https://mystpatricks.com/mission-haiti and at https://www.belikebrit.org/. Please contact Kate Salmon-Robinson if you are interested or have any questions: 508-254-7766 or katesalmon@aol.com.

2019 GLOBAL MISSION TRIP
St. Patrick’s is going back to Haiti in 2019! We are again partnering with Be Like Brit (BeLikeBrit.org) for our second international mission where, among other things, we will build a desperately needed home for a family in Grand-Goâve.
Together with Father Tomasz and Deacon Patrick, in June 2018 our team of 16 successfully built a safe, sturdy home for a single mother and her three young children. We met the family on Monday morning, worked for days and gave Mom the keys at a blessing of the home at the end of the week. It was an incredibly moving experience.
Traveling with “Be Like Brit” helped us to get to know the children and staff at Brit’s Home (the non-adoption orphanage where we stayed), provided the opportunity to see the greater Grand-Goâve community and opened our eyes to the beautiful Haitian people and their rich culture.
We will be hosting an informational meeting in early January for anyone considering joining us in 2019.
Please complete the mini form below if you are interested in learning more about the trip and would like updates about the mission.
We also invite you to support our Haitian Mission by making a donation…

St. Patrick’s Parish in Whitinsville has a very simple mission statement:
Love God. Love One Another. Make Disciples.
One concrete way we can do it is to serve all our sisters and brothers, particularly the poor and needy, by generous acts of charity and by working together with all people of good will for justice and peace.”
This mission trip is one way in which our Parish Community is striving to live our mission.
