Director of Liturgical Music:
Active parish in central Massachusetts is seeking a full-time Director of Liturgical Music. Parish has three weekend Masses, active liturgy committee, foundation of good music and liturgical participation, strong religious education program, and commitment to service and justice, and is discerning ways to grow drawing on models such as “Rebuilt.”

Director qualifications: strong organ, piano, conducting and accompanist skills; familiarity with and ability to lead music from a wide variety of styles; ability to recruit, train, and inspire cantors, instrumentalists, and choir; enthusiasm for working with a variety of age groups including children and adolescents; knowledge of and respect for Catholic liturgy; commitment to fostering assembly’s full and active participation; good organizational, pastoral, and communication skills; ongoing engagement in professional development and personal growth in faith; and commitment to collaboration with ministry leader(s), parish staff and liturgy committee.
