YIA Jr. is our service program for middle school students. Much like the high school YIA, these students will focus on service and social justice for a week each summer. Each day is centered on service and respect for our own community in the morning, and faith and fun in the afternoon. This week will happen July 28 through August 1 from 8:30am to 3:30pm. The cost for YIA Jr. is $150 for the week.
God Squad is a peer mentorship opportunity for our students who have completed the 11th grade Faith Formation program and been confirmed. They will work together to create the confirmation retreat for the next grade of students working toward their own confirmation, and provide encouragement and guidance to their peers during this crucial moment in their faith journey.
Guardian Angels is a peer mentorship opportunity for students in middle school. They will work together to plan the retreats for elementary school faith formation students, and learn leadership, teamwork, and trust.
Word4Kidz occurs during the Liturgy of the Word at the 10am Mass. The kids will be invited downstairs to join us for kid-friendly readings, have the opportunity to offer up their prayer intentions, and of course, enjoy lots of music and dancing! The preschool, kindergarten, and first grade students who meet for faith formation during this time will also join in as part of their classes.
